Recognizing and Treating Multiple
Sclerosis in the Primary Care Setting
Saturday, May 15, 2010
Primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
are invited to attend this free half-day CME/CE lecture and workshop
in Boise on Saturday, May 15, 2010. This important educational session
will focus on multiple sclerosis risk factors, diagnosis, current
and emerging treatments, side-effect management, and regional issues
in MS management. Clinicians can earn up to 4.0 free CME/CE credits
for attending.
The expert faculty presenters are James D. Bowen, MD, medical director
of the Multiple Sclerosis Center at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute
in Seattle, Washington, and Lynda R. Hillman, MN, ARNP, nurse practitioner
in the Western Multiple Sclerosis Center & Rehabilitation Medicine
Clinic at the University of Washington Medical Center, also in Seattle.
The meeting takes place at the AmeriTel Inn Boise Spectrum, 7499
West Overland Road, in Boise. Registration and continental breakfast
begin at 7:30 AM, and the first scientific session commences at
8:00 AM. Lunch will be served at noon, following the conclusion
of the meeting.
