Leadership
The governing body of NPI is the Executive Board. The board supervises, controls and provides direction on the affairs, committees, publications, policies, and distribution of funds for NPI. The board may take a position and express an opinion on behalf of NPI on issues relevant to the NP profession. In addition, the board may adopt rules and regulations for the conduct of its business as are deemed necessary. The board is comprised of five officers and 5 regional representatives. The Past-President serves on the board for one year after term and serves as a tie breaker as needed.
